Over the past 10 years, non-school city spending increased by 59%, while school spending increased by only 28%. None of the public school buildings were renovated between the completion of the Peabody School in 2002 and the renovation of CRLS in 2010, even though many were in poor repair. Do you think there was inadequate investment in our public school system during these years, relative to other city departments?
